A twig ant (Pseudomyrmex gracilis) on Firebush (Hamelia patens) at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The focal point of this image was intended to be the top bloom of the Firebush, but this twig ant found his way into the image as I shot, which is why the focus isn't exactly on him.
