Artist's Description

Hot shot furnace of Castillo De San Marcos was used to heat cannon balls to be fired at ships in hopes to catch them on fire. This is my first attempt at light painting. The furnace was lit with a flashlight and I placed a remote trigger flash inside the furnace.
