I've never been much of a fine art connoisseur, but I figured I'd give a macro abstract a shot. This is a macro shot of the bark of a Longleaf Pine Tree (Pinus palustris) at Sesquicentennial State Park in Columbia, South Carolina. I have converted the picture it to oil painting using a basic Photoshop filter.

Rob is a certified photographer based out of Pasadena, Maryland. Rob began his interest as a photographer as a Police Detective with the Hurlock Police Department. He is now retired and enjoys photography and travel. Mae is a student of photography under the tutilage of her husband, Rob. She moved to the US from the Philippines with Rob in 2022.
