This Savannah, Georgia DOT ferry was named after Susie King Taylor (1848-1912). Susie King Taylor was an African American Army Nurse that assisted union troops during the American Civil War. She was also the first to openly teach school for former slaves.
Rob is a certified photographer based out of Pasadena, Maryland. Rob began his interest as a photographer as a Police Detective with the Hurlock Police Department. He is now retired and enjoys photography and travel. Mae is a student of photography under the tutilage of her husband, Rob. She moved to the US from the Philippines with Rob in 2022.
