Artist's Description
A 30-second exposure including 20 some off camera flashes (2 flashes, multiple fires) and a flashlight painting the trees. Image depicts artillery on Seminary Ridge in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. I thought for sure that a passing vehicle's headlights were going to make a mess of my lighting, but comparing the shot using just the flashes looked dull to the depth that the passing headlights added.
